The series is centers the lives of The Originals, the first vampires of New Orleans, Mikaelson siblings; Klaus, Elijah, Finn, Rebekah and Kol. Klaus is considered as the most dangerous vampire-werewolf hybrid among the originals, he's known for his sadistic and sociopathic character. Elijah is the oldest of the siblings, he's shown to be one of the most sophisticated and peaceful of the Original siblings; he is most describe as kind, caring and selfless.

Finn, unlike most of siblings, he is described as the outwardly morally sound, he wishes to put an ends to the wrong doings and pain that his siblings have created to others.  While Rebekah, is the only girl among the siblings, she's lonely and insecure, though she hides this by being cruel and violent. And the second youngest of them all is Kol, he compels Damon to kill Jeremy so that they cannot find Silas, but Stefan locks Damon away so that he cannot.

The Originals first episode starts when Klaus Mikaelson, returned to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans - the city that his family helped to build 300 years age. His determined to help his brother, Elijah leaves their sister Rebekah behind and follows Klaus.

For the upcoming episode, Angered by the recent events involving the safety of his unborn baby, Klaus demands answers from Sophie believing she was invovled. Sophie reveals to Klaus and Rebekah a troubling secret from her past.

The Originals broadcasts on The CW every Tuesday at 9:00, it stars Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah in New Orleans.
